Tomorrow -- imagine this: first you awaken and head to the North City Farmer's Market between 9 and 1 pm for some fresh veggies and other wares, and then, after a siesta and whatnot, we all reunite at Slow Rocket (1944 Cherokee) for a serenade by musician Sarah Donner around 5 pm. Sound good?

Next Saturday, in the early evening (July 3rd, 5pm), we will be hosting Sarah Donner at the farm for an acoustic show. Come to our patio and listen to some music. Donations will be much appreciated, and feel free to bring snacks and boozy or non-boozy drinks.

Why hello out there! A quick update from your farmer-friends.
Let's start with today. TODAY you can knock on the farmhouse door at 1938 and we will sell you beauteous kale, chard, basil, and mint.

This week, let the biodynamic mid-summer planting begin. Don't know what biodynamic agriculture is? Want to get your hands in some dirt? Come on by Sunday 10-12 (FRUIT DAY) and Wednesday (FLOWER DAY)

We finally received our projector and soon, we'll be selecting our first movie for an outdoor screening.

Next weekend, we make our debut at the N City Famer's Market.

So stay cool, eat your veggies, and come by and see us.

We Slouped!

Last night, we held the June Sloup. It was super hot outside, but folks came out for the kale and rice noodle soup that we were pretty proud of. There's still lots of kale to purchase, and if anyone would like a quart jar of soup, we've got some leftovers in the fridge.

Congrats to Pancake Productions for winning the Sloup Grant for the month, and thanks to all who showed up!

Update on a Rainy Tuesday

So after a lovely art/food event, we are back on the farm, wrangling chickens, watching in awe as tomato plants grow, and plotting our film series. We hoped to have a farm stand today, but due to unpredictable weather, we're doing some planning over at Foam (Jefferson@Cherokee). See you on Saturday, 10-3, if not before! And do send us your cooking stories.

Farm Stand Saturdays

Henceforth, Saturdays will be the day of the week when you can buy produce at our farm stand conveniently located (for us, and hopefully for you) at the farm. Come by between the hours of 10 and 3 for veggies! This week, we'll have bok choy, chives, mint, basil, sage, chervil, mizuna, arugula, kale and swiss chard. Oh my. Maybe we'll have a boombox going or something?

Also, now we have a lovely new sign, courtesy of Scott Ogilvie, so it's now even easier to find us. See you tomorrow!
